The purpose of the Inquire Together project is to study how teachers, teacher candidates and high school students work together to implement student -centered scientific inquiry in high school classrooms.
Research Team
Dr. Carol Rees is an associate professor at Thompson Rivers University. She has been a teacher educator for 12 years. She led the development of the new Bachelor of Education STEM program for secondary teachers of science and mathematics at Thompson Rivers University. Her research centres on science education at all levels and she has published and presented widely in this area
Rupinder is pursuing a Master of Education at Thompson Rivers University . She is a postgraduate in Psychology from India. She worked as a Teaching Assistant at TRU in Department of Education and Social Work. She is working as a Research Assistant, and her areas of interest in research are Educational, Cognitive and Positive Psychology. She is very excited that she got the opportunity to work on this project.
Sandra is a proud mother of two daughters, and is currently in the Master of Education program at Thompson Rivers University. Her previous education includes a Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics and Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology. She has been involved in two other research projects at TRU with the School of Nursing and Student Services. Sandra is very excited for the opportunity to work on this project, STEM education is where her passion lies.
